Welcome teachers to Kids LOVE the Earth! NEW!! Scroll down to see new Teacher Resources and live feeds!
How hard is it to keep your students focused on learning when birds are singing just outside the window and a spring breeze is moving the swings on the playground? Pretty difficult! That's because kids are drawn automatically to nature, craving the freedom, the sensation, the ability to explore. We all naturally are inquisitive and curious beings--and these central qualities which are such an important part of learning are inspired and activated by the natural world.
Our objective with this site is to provide you, parents, and kids themselves with activities and resources that help keep alive our love of the earth. We believe that in order for us to be healthy as individuals and as a planet, we need to focus on our appreciation for and natural love of the earth. On this site you will find both free and purchasable resources you can use in your classroom. Specifically, you'll find:
Coloring packets
Nature journals
